| TOPIC: | Leadership Marion 2017 Graduates: The Forge Business Plan Competition |
| DESCRIPTION: | The Leadership Marion! 2017 class project is to encourage entrepreneurial activity in Marion through a Business Plan competition. This is an opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to present their business plan and get valuable constructive feedback. Aspiring entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to publicize their business in the community. There is a $2,500 grand prize for the aspiring entrepreneur to help start or grow their business. Additionally, all participants will receive free enrollment in a series of five classes on business basics – bookkeeping, marketing, etc. |
